THE ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE

__WORKSHOPS

Although the actual skill of the Alexander Technique is best learned with the help of highly trained hands-on guidance, workshops can serve as an excellent introduction to the Technique. They allow participants to better understand how the process works, and the kinds of things it can help with, as well as seeing (or even experiencing) it firsthand.

Workshops can provide a general introduction to the Alexander process, or they can be geared to a specific concern or challenge. In the case of workshops targeting specific groups (musicians, actors, people suffering from issues like back pain, Parkinson’s, etc.) relevant activities can sometimes be incorporated into a demonstration of the process in action.

Tanya is a very experienced workshop presenter, equally at home with large and small groups. For more information on a workshop tailored to the needs of your group, please contact Tanya directly at 416-805-9893, or tanya@alexandertech.ca
